(North) Mt Hallasan National Park 世界自然遗产汉拿山国立公园 한라산 국립공원

If you want to climb to Baekrokdam on Mount Halla, you need to leave early in the morning as there are time restrictions on ascending and descending the mountain. Hallasan National Park, encompassing a broad area around Mount Halla should not be missed on your visit. Covering an area of 153,386 square meters, 91.62 meter square of which is designated as Natural Conservation Area. The more than 360 oreum (secondary volcanic cones) around Mount Halla also present various colors in different seasons. For this reason, among others, Hallasan NationalPark was selected to be a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in December 2002 and recognised as a valuable heritage site that should be preserved for people around the world. The park was also one of three locations registered as the first UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites in Korea under the designation of Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes on June 27, 2007. Jeju has 23 species of wild plants out of 59 that are near extinction and come under the special supervision of the Ministry of the Environment, and six of them grow in the Hallasan Natural Conservation Area. 

如果要攀登到汉拿山白鹿潭，那么最好从清晨开始出发，这里因为这里有上山和下山时间的限制。在汉拿山不能错过的地方就是汉拿山国立公园。规模达153.386平方公里，其中的91。62平方公里被指定为天然保护区。不仅如此，汉拿山的周围还分布着360余座丘陵（寄生火山），随着季节的变化，呈现给人们千变万化的美丽景观。因此，2002年12月，汉拿山国立公园被指定为“联合国教科文组织生物圈保护区”。汉拿山和济州美丽的土地，被公认为世人应共同保护的珍贵遗产。而且，2007年6月27日，“济州火山岛和熔岩洞窟”被列入联合国教科文组织世界自然遗产名录。韩国环境部特别进行管理的濒临灭绝的59种特定野生植物中的23种就分布在济州岛上，其中的6种属于汉拿山天然保护区。
