(South) Cheonjeyeong Waterfall 天帝渊瀑布 천제연폭포

This is the largest waterfall of the three major waterfalls on Jeju island, the other two of which are Cheonjiyeon waterfall and Jeongbang waterfall. The water here is known for its purity and springs from a spot between the precipice of the cliffs and the clay layers. From the ceiling of the cave of the first cascade falls water that is believed to cure diseases when splashed over one’s body, and is also used for drinking. The first cascade is about 22 meters and forms a 22m deep pond, Cheongjeyeon, where the water stays still. After heavy rain, the water flows to create the second and third cascades. The second cascade is about 30 m high, the greatest of the three cascades. Near the trail is a thick subtropical forest, offering the chance to see a range of tropical trees. Above the Cheonjeyeon waterfall is the Seonimgyo arched bridge, also called the Seven taoist fairies bridge. Right above it, one can enjoy a view of Mount Halla.

天帝渊瀑布与天地渊瀑布，正房瀑布并称为济州岛三大瀑布，并且是其中规模最大的一个。从断崖和粘土层之间喷涌出泉水，水质清澈。第一瀑布洞窟顶部掉下的水也可作为饮用水使用，传说，到了百中和处暑，到第一瀑布洞窟去淋水，可包治百病。第一瀑布长22米，水深21米，瀑布有时断流，形成“天帝渊”。 下大雨的时候，水就流下来，形成第二瀑布，第三瀑布。第二瀑布宽30米，是这三段瀑布中最雄伟壮观的一个。散步路周围是郁郁葱葱的温带森林，可以欣赏多种热带树种。另外，位于瀑布上方的仙临桥也叫七仙女桥，是按照鹊桥的形式建造的。在上面可以欣赏一下汉拿山的景色

First falls is located under the Cheonje-gue(bridge), it is formed only when the river overflows. The cave on the right, Yongcheon-soo ia the source of water. It become a waterfall only when heavy rains fall accompanied by great thunder and lighting in the summer. 

第一瀑布位于天帝桥的下方。虽然只有在河水泛滥时才会形成瀑布，但从瀑布右边洞窟里涌出来的泉水，保证了它的水源。不然就是要等到夏季下大雨后，才会形成瀑布。

Second falls is formed by the water from the pond of the first waterfall. If the amount of water was abundant, the water would fall down from the entire range of the cliff. However in winter, when the water is not enough, it will fall into 3 parts. 

第二瀑布的渊地是第一瀑布渊池里流出的。在水源充足时，整个绝壁都会有水落下，但到了冬季水源不足时，只会分三处落下。

The water in the pond of the second fall flows down to the third fall. The height of 10m is forming on the third pin as the water of the pond is circulating just like a millstone. 

第二瀑布的渊地流下，形成了第三瀑布。从高处落下的瀑布水，形成了第三瀑布的渊池像磨盘一样旋转. 

An arch bridge is built connecting the falls and Jungmun Resort. The bridge links the east and the west across the stream which flows through the second and third falls. Each side of the bridge is decorated with Seven-Nymphs Statues, carved beautifully and grandly as if they are flying up to the sky riding in clouds, playing different musical instrument just like in the legend.

这桥是连接天帝渊瀑布和中文度假村。桥连接着东侧和西侧，经过第二和第三瀑布。桥的两侧各饰有七仙女雕像，雕刻精美，盛大，好像他们是飞起来的天空骑在云，扮演着不同的乐器，就像传说中的。
